Stunning antique 19th century ironstone Coffee Pot with a beautiful brown transferware print. 10.5" tall to top of lid and 10.5" wide spout to handle. Maker's stamp on base but it's difficult to read. appears to be English. Unusual trumpet flower on lid, lid appears to have come from the sugar bowl perhaps as it is not as tea-stained as the coffee pot, however it does fit. there is a mend on inside rim that does not affect the use of the pot (see photo), lots of crackling to the glaze and tea staining. Wonderful pot to display with Autumn flowers. More photos can be sent upon request, just email me.
