Reminiscent of the soaps made by American pioneers and farm women as they crossed the prairies heading West.  No-frills, no scent, this is a pure all natural Tallow Soap made in small batches from locally sourced grass fed beef tallow.  Long lasting, very moisturizing and great for sensitive skin.  I render the tallow myself until I have a rich, creamy skin nourishing fat for making my soaps.   1862 Prairie Soap has no other fats other than tallow.  Lather is not as dense as other soaps, but is very moisturizing and good for the skin and will clean you just the same!
